About Me

Hey, I'm Brady Blough.

I’m a software engineer with a background in regulated production systems and aerospace manufacturing, currently focused on building reliable, safety-conscious software in mission-critical environments. I work primarily with Python, Java, and C, and have experience in scientific computing using NumPy, backend API development, and legacy system maintenance.

I began my career in aerospace manufacturing in an ITAR-controlled environment, where precision, attention to detail, and quality were essential. That experience shaped how I approach software engineering today: carefully, methodically, and with a strong respect for correctness and reliability.

I’m particularly interested in space and scientific software, including data processing, mission support systems, and tools that help researchers and engineers make sense of complex systems. I enjoy working on problems where software has real-world impact.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about learning, building, and continuously improving as an engineer. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, take on meaningful challenges, and contribute to work that matters.
